Dr Thomas Gregory (Avicenne Teaching Hospital – Bobigny -FR) performed on December 5th 2017 on YouTube AP-HP channel, a UNIC Total Reverse Shoulder Arthropasty with the help of a holographic and collaborative Microsoft HoloLens.
The surgeon could visualize during the surgery and directly into his filed of vision, the holographic 3D images of the patient’s articulation for assistance and accuracy of his surgical actions. The surgeon was communicating in real time with specialist surgeons from around the world, and discuss about the technical options during the intervention.
